Its weight is moved from one to two kilograms, and its length of about 40 centimeters. He lives in rivers and lakes of eastern Australia and Tasmania. Their life expectancy reaches 30 years and their diet is composed of: small fish, frogs, insect larvae, mollusks and small crustaceans.

The eggs are deposited on the bottom of a deep tunnel that the platypus burrow where they find the necessary moist environment for the birth of their offspring.
Both males and females are born with a kind of spur on the hind legs, but only the first releases a poison capable of producing human discomfort.
The Characteristics of the Salamander Mudpuppies
The mudpuppies are a salamander that supposedly can make sounds similar to the barking of a dog. This capability has also won otherwise called “water dogs” or “waterdogs.” But it turned out that was not true I could do ERSE sound, remained popular name.
These aquatic salamanders lafamiliaProteidae originated. The gills and lungs conservansus mudpuppies also have to provide breathing. Although mudpuppies have lungs, most of his life is spent in the water.
These “water dogs” have an excellent ability to breathe through the skin and gills. In the case of low oxygen in the water, they expand the guts to increase the circulation of water and also to have enough space to take up available oxygen. With its body slimy and wet, these animals adapted to aquatic and marine life.
These salamanders have a rusty brown body. The top layer of skin is bluish-gray spots unevenly distributed in the body. The robust mudpuppies can be distinguished by their bushy red gills.

They have a very sticky and wet body, adapted to the conditions of well water. The body temperature of these animals changes with the temperature of their habitat. The color mudpuppies attract the attention of passersby, so now many consider to keep the salamanders as pets.
Rare Animals Kiwaidae
furry lobster
A group of experts in marine biology Research Institute Aquarium Monterey Bay (California), have discovered a strange animal to which they have named Kiwa hirsuta or Kiwaidae (for Kiwa, the goddess of crustaceans in Polynesian mythology). This new species was found in the South Pacific and resembles a lobster covered with what looks like silky fur, hence the hairy lobster.
This strange animal was found at about 2,300 feet deep, so it is totally blind, and no less than 1,500 miles south of Easter Island.
As published by the National Museum of Natural History, Paris, we know that the animal is white and is 15 inches long and as a hallmark of its claws are coated with a thin wire.
Little else is known of this strange animal unless you live in the vicinity of hydrothermal vents in the deep Pacific, which produced a number of highly toxic fluids.
One of those responsible for this discovery, Dr Segonzac said that “hairs” of its clips are home to a type of bacteria which help lobster processing water and that this will not be toxic, which would allow the Kiwaidae live near these vents as highly toxic.
What do you eat?, While some scientists think that feeds the bacteria that live in the “hairs” of its clips, Segonzac said they saw as fighting with other congeners by a piece of fish.
In the video you can see some of the fellow travelers of the Kiwaidae in the depths of our oceans.

This law regulates who cannot be out of space, facilities instalacionesy expressly authorized by the Ministry competent species such as arthropods, amphibians, fish and poisonous reptiles all over 2 pounds, crocodiles and alligators, and all primatesand wild species in the adult weighing 10 kilos or more.
That is, all the animals we have mentioned so far cannot be living in unhogarparticular. But not only that. The law also says that the potentially dangerous animals can not travel on public roads and spaces for general use.
It is also important to note that the law places the burden on municipalities the responsibility of ordering the detention or temporary confinement of animals that have attacked people or other pets have caused them injury, to control and take appropriate legal action in each situation.
